Specialists from the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry visited Aziya Immunopreparat, an enterprise established in Tashkent in 2013, to review its operations and assess its existing challenges.
The enterprise is one of the first to implement GMP standards in bacteriophage production. Today, it is the only manufacturer of bacteriophages in Uzbekistan, producing medicines, biologically active supplements (BAS), veterinary products, and cosmetics.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the enterprise’s production processes, existing capacities, development prospects, and the challenges encountered in its operations. In addition, proposals were considered for further developing production, expanding the product range, and increasing export potential.
